This 1931 Ford Model AA postal delivery truck is one of the AA's delivered to the Minneapolis Post office in 1931 and was put into service in early '32 for regional, inter-office transport of large loads. It was cosmetically and mechanically restored and rebuilt from the ground up. The chassis and all mechanicals were completely torn apart with all new bearings, braces, gears, seals, gaskets, springs, fasteners, joints, etc. installed as needed and the engine, transmission and rear end were all treated to full rebuilds. The meticulously reproduced wood cargo box is a work of art, built to the original 200 cubic foot specification as fitted to this long chassis AA when it was new.
